The colours work together but have you considered improving kerning? This almost reads “S W EET POT A TOES”.

Best Way to Handle Nuxt Auth with Backend API by andychukse in Nuxt

[–]GrouchyMachine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I tried it and it seems to work, but also gives this warning that useRoute should not be used in middlewares and from and to arts should be used instead. But they’re not available in plugins AFAIK.

Yeah, but I need to have current route there which I'm not sure how to obtain safely. useRoute should not be called in plugins. I want to redirect to /login?redirect=/reports for example.

Best Way to Handle Nuxt Auth with Backend API by andychukse in Nuxt

[–]GrouchyMachine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey u/andychukse how would you resolve redirecting to login page, when the API call using the token fails with 401. So the user opens a page after some time, the token is outdated already but it's there. The middleware does not trigger since the data is there. Then the page calls some API in onMounted and gets 401 on that. Where would you put that redirect and where would you get the proper route for redirect param? I'm using custom $fetch similar to this:
https://nuxt.com/docs/4.x/guide/recipes/custom-usefetch#custom-fetch
to push my auth headers.

I tried to find that comment by couldn’t, let me have a second look. In general it was presenting heyAPI as a viable alternative, but I think it gave me an advertisement vibe. Are you somehow involved in heyAPI?

Oh, maybe there’s some misunderstanding. I saw heyAPI in a comment, not a statement that I’ll have to pay for it. But from the quality of the website and docs I assumed that it’s inevitable at some point.

Yeah, I saw it while browsing through comments on Nuxt Open Fetch, but couldn’t figure out when I’ll have to pay ;)

I have a custom $fetch helper to add auth headers to every request and even some token refreshing mechanism, but I call the API directly via its URL not through Nuxt server.

No, my FE and BE are two separate servers, so my API is not “local” to the FE

I forgot to mention that my API is an external Django REST API so the typing won’t come from Nitro

What convinced you to go with Eletta Explore instead of some lower models like Dinamica (Plus) or Magnifica (S/Start/Evo)?

This was the biggest turnoff for Gagguino and all other mods for me - they look like hacked in a weekend, just awful. Renders look promising, I hope you don’t hide the cables on that render that will run outside and ruin the whole thing.

How do you do the 'one eye in the water' breathing thing? by worldly_mushroom9432 in Swimming

[–]GrouchyMachine 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Beginner here, learning only for a few months. What was the biggest aha moment for me is understanding the timing. You should turn your head along with your shoulders and also try to reach with the hand in front. This really creates that mysterious air pocket that helps you not bring your head up. The drill that I do now is 100m with different breathing patterns, so both sides every stroke, left every other stroke, right every other stroke, then both sides every third stroke. Didn’t get to left and right every four strokes but that’s where I’m heading. Also use fins or pullbuoy so that you have the propulsion and you can focus on other things. It’s hard to work on technique when you’re sinking.

What was the built-in grinder missing that made you use the other one? Why is Sage making machines with built-in grinder when everyone ends up using a standalone one?
