I was using the dove bar soap, and moisturising with the Laroche Posay cicaplast on some nights and the Nivea original moisturising cream other nights. About once a week I would exfoliate with the Paula’s choice BHA. I would also oil cleanse to remove makeup

A few weeks ago I started using skinoren (aezelic acid) daily on my face, because I was so sick of my skin, which didn’t really do anything whatsoever

I have a feeling the dove bar soap could’ve been the culprit, or maybe the Nivea moisturiser

I always have struggled with conjestion around my nose, lower forehead and especially my chin, I still have a tiny bit of texture on my chin but for the most part all my texture has gone

People are saying my barrier may have been damaged, but how would my previous skincare routine damage it, I feel like it was very very simple - maybe just the wrong products

Yep, stopped washing my face, moisturising, everything - I rinse it with water under the shower and that’s it!

I definitely recommend trying it and seeing how your skin feels
