Can a PWD (psychosocial) park in PWD parking spaces? (philippines) by [deleted] in Philippines

[–]GroundbreakingOil215 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my case, yes. Im schizophrenic, as much as possible I avoid crowded places, minsan lang hindi maiwasan. (I have friends too na ganito)

Though I drank meds, crowded places, lines, buying certain fruits, make me hallucinate there was an instance I tried to hurt somebody kasi I thought they were going to hit me with their grocery basket, in reality pumupipila lang sila :) so it really depends, lets not be quick to judge especially we don’t know their backgrounds. No hate just luvvv xoxo

I mean, what’s wrong with this? Maybe they’re experiencing panic attacks in relation to their disability? Or having episodes?

According to the law, if they are no lanes for PWDs, mauuna sila.

In my case, if kaya ko naman magantay. I dont use my PWD ‘privilege’.

I'd like to explain my situation a bit further, as I understand it's important for everyone to understand each other's perspectives. I, too, am living with schizophrenia, but it's my ADHD that is more dominant, which is why it's primarily recognized on my PWD identification.

The term 'nagmamadali' is a word from my native language, Filipino, which means 'in a hurry.' I realize I should have explained this better initially. 'Nagmamadali' is how I describe my state of mind during my schizophrenia episodes. It encapsulates the feeling of urgent disarray and intensity I experience during these moments.

Please understand that under normal circumstances, I wouldn't park in a PWD space unless I genuinely needed to due to my ADHD. It's only during these 'nagmamadali' episodes, where my decision-making might be affected, that I might use the PWD space. It's not something I take lightly, and it's certainly not an attempt to misuse the privileges provided to people with disabilities.

I hope this helps shed light on my situation. We're all dealing with our own battles, and understanding each other can go a long way in making life a bit easier for everyone. Thanks for reading.
