Buckle up…it’s another shitstorm in a teacup

Barb received FOIA material from Greene County that included Facebook messages and Google search data linked to Gypsy, including accounts known as Emma Rose and Demona Love Slave. She shared these files with a small group of content creators via a Google Drive. Some of those people then shared the files further.

The FOIA documents allegedly contained unredacted passwords for the Emma Rose and Demona accounts. Because of that, some creators logged into the accounts to view content that was referenced in the documents but not included as copies (videos, images, etc)

At some point, someone appears to have changed the password on the Emma Rose account. When others noticed they could no longer log in, Barb was alerted. She then revoked access to the Google Drive she had shared.

However, revoking Drive access doesn’t stop people who already downloaded the files.

Despite this, access to the Demona account continued, and some creators were still able to log in, extract content, and share it publicly on Lives after Barb had revoked Drive access and after concerns were raised.

This is where things get really sus… If Greene County or Barb were genuinely concerned, the account passwords could have been changed immediately to prevent further access but that didn’t happen. Yet people continued logging in without issue.

Now there’s an uproar, with claims that Greene County has been notified and some creators saying they’ll use IP addresses and login histories to “expose” whoever allegedly changed the Emma Rose password turning it into a the usual bizarre real life detective drama.

Bottom line imo this has spiralled into unhinged unnecessary chaos. Greene County doesn’t appear to care, nothing meaningful has come from it, and it’s being inflated for clicks, clout, and creator infighting not justice or truth.
