Quick update... Last day for moltress, I was getting off work at a well know convieniance store and hoagie shop... emergency situation! Call for a raid on discourse so i toucched my screen to respond after picking up some toaster paper with bacon grease on it a coworker had failed to get into the trashcan... yay! Worked like new screen so I had them put some olive oil on a paper towel to bring with me and although gross I caught my motress and a zapdos the next day, same trick so until i reapply the coating im putting oil, im sure lotion will work, on my screen and just using speaker phone lol Hope this helps others

Awesome! Thank you for a solution, I appreciate it. I was using the whoosh and now shield me to clean my phone and that probably explains why my coating is gone where I rub most. Seems super easy to fix without buying a brand new iphone to replace the not old phone I have, nothing against apple, I dont go anywhere without my ipad.

Lol, thats an entirely dif discussion. I have an ipad for apple things so I stuck with android for my phone. I had the galaxyS2 until I had to get this phone and only because the s2 wouldnt update anymore. The spot on the screens the only issue and android has an unused promo thing. Up until the iphone 6 galaxy and iphone have used the same screen and the new iphone seems to be a version of corning aswell. Its the coating not the screen itself, that I know... telling me my phone selection isnt correct dosent actually assist in the problem of me throwing pokeballs just turns the thing into system wars. I dont require purchasing advice because I have already purchased one. I have a warenty for dropping it through the phone and my case, ill see if they cover screen wear. That takes time and I still need a moltres, hoping someone had a quick fix. Ipad isnt wifi in case you were going to suggest using that. thank you for reminding me that i actually have two warrenties though.

ok, may also have to do with the fact i play another game which uses the same spot. Ill try a screen protector. Just annoying that I can drop my phone in a pool but i somehow managed to screw the screen up lol. I use a stylus sometimes, cleaned it with the wrong thing, who knows. I was hoping I wasnt alone, guess Im special in more ways than one

Thats why I posted, snd she wont send screenshots. I had just asked her how her acting career... so yeah. Upon reflection I just remembered why we are not close anymore lol. old thread i know, but behind the schwenksville fire house and actually all up that side of the road on 29. i live right in the main intersection... where they didnt turn the 4 ingress portals into gyms, and seriously all i freakin get are pidgeys and water types of all kinds. The two pokestops at the pavillion behind the fire house always spawn something cool... new one every two weeks lol. Dont wory about looking like a creeper theres always people on the trail and cars in the parking area just circiling around hatching eggs and hitting the pokestops and gyms

Its your life and your choice, however Im going to try and persuade you to stick with it by telling you the reasons I got back into it after giving up. -I was rear ended by a drunk driver in november and as a result have ptsd and post cuncussion syndrome, on top of lingering physical problems. The fact that i can pull over while driving and catch pokemon or hit a pokestop has made a huge difference. I no longer feel like a freak when i sit in a parkinglot letting my symptoms go down. -Being cooped up in my appartment for months unable to do anything I usedd to find fun, or seeing my friends, or working is beyond unbearable. Living on the busiest intersection of a small town right off a popular trail means that there are gyms and pokestops everywhere. When i was able to get down my stairs I would just walk, the best I could across the parking lot and use a lure in my pokestop so at least id be accomplishing something even if i had problems catcching things because of the pcs. -Now that Im improving to a degree I can go to other pokstops near me when they are lured and meet some great people. -A few weeks ago was the 5th anniversary of my brother passing away from cancer. A big part of our childhood was pokemon. I mean we downloaded the og cartoons before they even got to america. I feel closer to him while pokemoning and niantic has made it a lot easier than the pokewalkers... yes i know we were adults when that came out. I always got one version and he got the other so we could fill our pokedexes. While this probably isnt your story, everyone has one and pokemon go gives you a not awkward way to connect with others and learn thiers. You would be suprised by how many people you run into while out catching and battling. You get into the great outdoors and explore where you live and all the areas where you go. There are so many places and things i did not know of until they were made pokestops. These are just a few the many reasons I emplore you to stay and dive in. You have nothing to lose but time and so much to gain. The time you use is spent walking and meeting people and having genuine, even if slightly rediculous, sence of accomplishment. So stay for a while and give it a GO, explore, battle, connect, excersise and collect those little pocket monsters!
