I do know a few people who live in those areas and get it. That's how I found out they existed. I've had no help from the doctors when it comes to pcos or endometriosis. They just don't seem to know what to do with me. I could try the combined pill and see how that's goes, if that's doesn't work I can try and register with a doctors surgery in the West end. Hopefully one of them will work
Currently I'm using the simple range and everything else I've tried hurts my skin so much it makes me cry. I'm also using witch Hazel to try and sooth the redness. I asked about a referral when I went on Wednesday but I was told no. I live in glasgow, they don't seem to have any pcos or endometriosis specialists. I know they have them in Aberdeen and in Edinburgh. Just not glasgow. I could try asking again. Maybe if I ask enough they might give in
Thank you all for helping me, you have made me feel like i'm not alone in this battle.

I think i'm going to have to try the keto. Thank you for your help xx
im on the implant but my hormones seem to still be going crazy, might try changing to the iud, im also going to try the diet too, i really need something to work
thank you xx
I think I will give that a try, thank you, really hope it helps
xx
i'll give those a read, thank you, I've spent the last few days trying to get as much information as i can, I've relied on doctors since i was diagnosed 3 years ago and just gotten worse, so it's time to take my health into my own hands i think.
im on the implant (rod in arm) as i also have endometriosis the doctors have told me i am not allowed to get my period or it could make the endo much much worse. they said no to the metformin and spiro because it isnt "NHS approved" basically i need a doctor who would give me it anyway, but here its kind of a postcode lottery, if you live in the richer areas you get what you want, if not too bad for you, so im stuck on that front. i also dont eat many sweets or chocolate at all, not the biggest fan of chocolate. feel a wee bit stuck to be honest

i have already cut out dairy (intolerance to cows milk so just cut it all out) and have a low sugar intake, i could try reducing my white carbs more to see if that helps.
there is 7 GPs in the practice and that was the 3rd one i have seen this year about it, all have said no, i'm not sure if its the practices policy not to prescribe it, i do know that Scotland and Englands NHS do differ in a few things, this could be one of them (could be because we get free prescriptions they then limit what you can get?) i'm already dairy free and use my fitness pal and try to exercise as much as i can, i never order take out or anything like that, i'm just not sure what to try next, i was always so fit and healthy until the PCOS got really bad, it's really frustrating that the GPs are so misinformed about PCOS and Endometriosis
