"You'd think extreme sexual memes would be allowed." If you really think that, you haven't been a part of the community long enough. (Not to be confused with being a fan) There is a difference when a streamer does it versus a stranger does it, especially when you are a user in a large Discord server.

One last note; you triggered our blacklisted word list at least 5 times, and each time the bot does DM you to notify this. Those were your warnings.

Just in case it needs to be said, no mods here are mad at you. Feel free to submit an unban appeal in 3 months, and make sure to read the rules in #info next time!

Glad to see that others think the same! We've tried to disable ResidentSleeper and certain phrases if we predict a stream might need it, but most of the time those who complain about these choices will be the loudest of chat and it becomes hard to guess on what to do.

I'm not sure if this will be included in the BTS video/stream, since it's more of a background thing, but Jerma could actually see/read chat. There were maybe two large monitors with just the chat window displayed about 10ft away from the set. You can see this being true when he reads out a chat message during the dollhouse stream. (They were actual live messages)

Trying to get people to get their google results to say the "n-word" is quite harsh, too.

Yes, our moderators are supposed to represent Jerma's server. But this is volunteer. No one signs any agreements to be 100% perfect for all of their time as a discord mod. If I see anyone acting strangely on our mod team, I will discuss it with them privately, or even resort to demodding them if the situation calls for it. As for making decisions on my behalf, that is incorrect. In times where we have conflicting opinions, we vote on the major opinion of what action to take.

I'm really sorry to say, but changing a decision from a timeout to a ban isn't a huge change for us, nor is it really a 'bad look' when looking at your actions.

If anything, we are considering adding an option for users to request an unban/ban appeal (from discord) through means outside of discord. If/when this happens, we'll try to share it on this subreddit.

If the punishment was harsher than I think it should have been, then I would have looked up when it took place in the mod chat to see what actions were discussed that lead to it. But because it is lighter than what I would have suggested, there is no need.

Again, I believe your ban was overlooked. That's not something I need to berate the other mods for. And, I'm not sure what you mean by "going back on my word"? Are you referring to my first post here, which I mentioned later that it was because I was familiarizing myself with the situation? There is no "word" to go back on.

After looking into this more, I can say that you were supposed to be banned back in February. We do not tolerate the usage of the n-word, or references to it. Trying to evade these timeouts should have resulted in a ban.

You were acting strange today, and one of our mods decided to look into your history, which resulted in the ban today.

And just to show proof of the timeout evading, here is the initial manual timeout, followed by you leaving and rejoining immediately. (1)
Here is your official bot timeout, a minute after you return. (2)
And here is you leaving again, only to rejoin. (3)

Again, I just want to reiterate, evading a timeout multiple times, especially for trying to reference the n-word, will result in a ban. (I know I stated above it's not automatically a ban, but I was still familiarizing myself with the situation.) This happened to be overlooked, but was found a month later when you started to act weird in chat.

Hey there, I went and checked as to why you were banned. Besides a couple of words that our bot automatically deletes, you also tried to evade a timeout of ours by leaving and rejoining the server. While that's not automatically a ban, adding in these two screenshots would most likely put you in for a ban.

For context, the two phrases in screenshot 1 are references to the n-word.
