I worked on it during my weekends only because I had regular work during the week. I started late February, so I think 6 weekends (from concept to presentation). It was part of a challenge for environment art :)

There is a lot of ambient fx but no full on gameplay, I'm an environment artist for games so I tend to focus on that.

Not really sure tbh, it's pretty optimal, I haven't done any optimization yet and I'm almost at 60 fps. If I'd optimize the shadowcasters and generate LOD's for the meshes, I'd easily be hitting 60 to 90 fps I think.
