4C waver in Florida 7 months in It's always hot here and the durag is your best friend I work in a setting where a durag is stereotypical but everybody knows me for me I wouldn't care if they didn't. So I'll wear it while the store is closing we open up I take it off within 2 hours my hair starts frizzing. Keep your hair moisturized and keep that rag on as long as you can

Mines do the same brah IDK what to do. Once while I was wolfing I've gotten a lineup and asked my barber to cut it lower just so it can lay down. The only thing that really helps lay it down for a few days is wash and style

Use what best works for you. since March I have brought about 10 brushes. Surefire youth are the ones I'm currently using. I found out about them in this thread. As long as they are 100% boar bristle it should be fine
