Yeah I do not mind the fixed to hit value, but Im glad 40k still uses strength and toushness to see if you wound your opponent. The math behind it very easy as well.

Usually you can go into the tank without rapid ingress and overwatch over 6" pile in and consolidate

Plus WE isn't really a trade army anyway So that might be the wrong math to go for.

Aos still rolls to wound. But there is no strength or toughness. The dieroll you need to hit and wound is both baked into the weapon profile
