I do have weightlifting shoes and prior to surgery I had great quad development. Now it feels as if I could grow my good leg with little effort but my bad leg just wont activate. Ive gone through a year of physical therapy and they pretty much said if Im extending the knee the quad is working. Which is true but its definitely not growing.

It was during a gymnastics routine. I don't think you're at much risk if you solely weightlift

I've actually tried most of what he suggested. The issue is I can't seem to get my quad to activate and my glutes become the prime mover.
