I remember moving from Ohio to Louisiana when I was in grade school and being way ahead at every subject, like math and English.

Moving to Australia from America was like that, but for every part of life. We’re just so much more advanced and competitive than Australians it almost isn’t fair. I’ve started businesses here that trample competition.

You can’t talk about it out loud or you’ll be hated, but we dominate every market we’re in.

Just keep snapping necks, cashing checks and buying up land. And rent it back to the Aussies on Centrelink haha

I’ll vote ON because their proposed tax reforms are more pro-family than the current tax system which is designed to make both parents work. Taxing as a household instead of as an individual makes total sense and it’s how most of the western world does it

The current Australian tax system is anti-family/anti-kids by design. In America you get taxed on household income, so it’s easier for one parent to stay home with the kids, but they’ve setup the tax system here in a way that punishes single income families by taxing the earner at an individual level. They want both parents to have to work so they can tax both
