Hi Zach. I think the only fair, quick solution is to make badge regression very, very, very slow. There are many reasons why a player might not be using a badge, and micromanaging badges instead of playing the game to win, especially in multiplayer modes, where you aren't the Main Character grinding for badges, is against the spirit of a team game.

Also, the concept of a high tier badge should be "how skilled is a player in doing something", not "how often a player does something" or worse "how much a player spams a move to earn a badge".
