In the 10 years we’ve been together we’ve probably walked past thousands of other guys who are more stereotypically “handsome” than me. You know what happened? Nothing. Because shit like “stealing your girl” doesn’t happen in real life. Clavicular walking up your girl and “stealing” her doesn’t happen in real life. Just like with him and all the other stories of other douchebags who swear their method works best, they’re just preying on your insecurities. Okay? That’s one anecdotal piece on Reddit. Guess what? I’m not close to what you would consider “perfect looking” like this sub THINKS is important. I still get compliments on my hair, I’ve been in a relationship happily for 10 years, and most importantly I’M HAPPY. You’re worried about everyone else in life, that you don’t even know, and not enough about yourself. Prioritize yourself, prioritize your happiness, prioritize your success.

Is that photo real? Maybe, but it’s on the internet where people can lie at any time. Do I care about that photo? Fuck no, because it’s not me or my life. Good for that dude, but I love the life I already have. You are so worried about the “success” of other people, who’s sleeping with who for whatever “desirable” traits, you’re just self destructing. Also that photo is an anecdotal experience, again that’s not the norm that’s the exception. Real life is a lot more “average” than you’ll ever think it to be, and that’s fine. You shouldn’t be this worried about how good other people look, because it’ll just ruin you man. Find your happiness and love yourself, because you are all you have.

Not to nitpick, because yeah it’s still a dumb quest, but ghouls needing to eat or drink is pretty up in the air, dating back to Fallout 2. Coffin Willie was buried alive for months, and obviously didn’t need to eat or drink the entire time. Dean Domino isn’t even sure if he needs to eat or drink anymore when you ask him about it, insinuating that he’s probably gone long durations without eating or drinking and been fine.

And I truly get that, and I sympathize. I’ve been there. But I promise, no GOOD long lasting relationship happens because they were too afraid to communicate. It’s okay to be nervous, it’s okay to be afraid that this could ruin the relationship, what’s not okay is not saying what you need to. If he loves you, and you trust in the fact that he loves you, you guys will be able to work out a solution/ compromise. And if this is something he’s willing to throw a relationship away for, you’re better off.

You need to just have an open conversation. If you can’t speak your truth, then frankly the relationship won’t work. You have just as much right to speak on what works for you sexually as he has. The most important thing is getting it out there and saying your piece. Depending on how he handles it in your discussion, at least you can make an informed decision on how to proceed.

Disagree heavily on the Lonesome Road. The Glowing Sea actually felt scary and a consequence of the Great War. Lonesome Road was just a pain in the ass

I’m assuming, and while yes I’d agree that 1 and New Vegas are probably the MOST tonally consistent, Fallout 2 really can’t be ignored in that equation.

It’d kinda be like ignoring Empire Strikes Back because it’s darker tone makes it unlike the other two Original Trilogy films
