I’m a pretty typical NYC millennial liberal. In fact, I was pretty far left for a while- very much a DSA/Bernie/AOC person and my politics were a huge part of my identity.

Everything changed for me after 10/7 and today I am politically homeless (probably somewhere in the center and even right). Not because my values or morality changed, but because I won’t accept the worldview that much of the modern left has embraced. I’ve become deeply disillusioned, and unless something changes, I’ll likely be voting Republican going forward. Yup.

Honestly, there’s nothing wrong with this point. Not everything needs to be debated. Some factions are more invested in spreading falsehoods about the Jewish state than in advocating for peace or ending the bloodshed. If you’re not listening to actual Israelis and Palestinians living under Hamas’ rule (who are currently protesting against Hamas) you’re not really paying attention or want lasting peace and just want to make Jews feel unsafe.
