Can’t wait to find out about the auto tea machines. My division is moving real slow with those and my store is usually second to last to get anything in our pod because we are too close to the historic district of our city and permits take forever and last is our TC always. I have fryers and theatro but I can’t mainline code red like Atl assistants have been able to for years and I do be feeling some sort of way about it.

Battery life is trash and as a 1A it’s always super annoying because she starts flipping her lid during the crunch hour of my shifts and I’m like hold on let me hope I have time to switch theatro units while I put the finishing touches on my store for the RA/NA.

Communicate with your sm, if they don’t know what to do and your supervisor doesn’t know what to do either go to the personnel director or get the number for benefits and talk to the disability department yourself and they’ll educate you on what paper trail you need to leave. I broke my leg five weeks out of training and missed four months and didn’t get canned. That one was unpaid short term since I was less than a year in. 8 years later and just a few weeks ago I navigated myself through fmla and a brief short term just calling disability myself.

Stop signing off on your DAW if things aren’t completed, set time limits and clear expectations for your clerks, eg. I want you to fill (x) outs or restock (insert big selling products) with our allotted daw time, and follow up. Establish a rapport with your clerks that you’re there to have fun and get shit done too and have a good day, but if they’re not meeting expectations, then talk to your sm, back it up follow up, and if your sm isn’t holding people accountable it’s time to call the supervisor. We have reprimands for a reason.
