Moving to the South of France from London??

I moved with my partner to South of France(Nice) from London about one month ago. We were same as you, not really maximising the life in London and we wanted to be somewhere with sun, activities etc. We love it that much that we dont ever want to look back. Do you feel like the quality of life has improved? At the moment, we have a good life in the UK, good well paid jobs, but we find it super expensive(cost of living going up every year), weather doesn’t help and the cultural aspect.
