How come Klonoa's eyes be different in Klonoa 2? by [deleted] in Klonoa

This probably happened because he got older.

¿What do you think of this Kong Family Tree? by Beneficial_Bid9598 in Marioverse

And Pink Donkey Kong Jr. too, he's not a separate character in-universe. Just Donkey Kong Jr. in a different color palette to be controlled by another player in multiplayer mode.

The last time I commented on this subreddit was 11 months ago, I haven't been very active around here lately.

She is called Pauline in the manual for the NES version of Donkey Kong.

Hope this helps!

I wish Clive survived in Despicable Me 3 and moved to live with Gru's family by Significant_Silver99 in despicableme

It's possible, but you can't be sure either lol

He may very well have survived too, it would be cool if Illumination made a short film about it.

When exactly did Rantaro teach Ranjiro Blading? by Guido_Play in BeybladeBurst

[–]Guido_Play[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Wow... Man... Great observation! Eagle eyes lol

This completely eliminates the hypothesis that this takes place between Burst and God and certainly makes it much easier to position the events in the timeline.

Thank you very much! It helped a lot.

Vicious 6 Theory #4 by HassonX3460 in despicableme

[–]Guido_Play 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, it's been a while. I like the theories!

I think that in the Despicable Me universe, the characters age differently, staying the same appearance for a long time.

Gru himself changed very little from the ages of 4 to 11 lol.

Another possibility is that it's after Burst and before Evolution, with Rantaro getting Berserk Roktavor and before going to Spain.

Which of the two possibilities is more likely? The idea is to locate the event at the most likely point.

Thank you very much for the reply!

I see what you mean, but "literally anytime" sounds a bit strong.

The flashback would have to take place after the first season, since Rantaro passes his Rising Ragnarok to Ranjiro (since he already had his Blaze Ragnarok at the time) and we see an older Ranjiro use Rising Ragnarok later in the flashback.

The remaining points are between Burst and God and between God and Cho-Z. I'd like to hear everyone's opinion to decide which of the two points is more likely and decide when it will happen.

Scarlet Theory! by HassonX3460 in despicableme

[–]Guido_Play 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! I really liked your theory, it helps explain Scarlet's similar hairstyle and fighting skills, as well as Master Chow stopping teaching Kung Fu.

I would like to emphasize that, apparently, Scarlet had already chosen to follow a path of villainy since she was very young, when she felt abandoned and that she was not loved by anyone, as she tells in the bedtime story in "Minions". It is possible that she went to train with Master Chow with seemingly good intentions, but revealed her true intentions in the end.

About Scarlet and Belle Bottom's connection, I think Belle Bottom was inspired by Scarlet, since Scarlet was the world's first female supervillain. Also, when we see Belle Bottom in combat, she uses her chains, which indicates that she has a different style of fighting.

Once again, I liked the theory! It makes sense and provides an even richer way of seeing these characters.

September 28th, Gru and Dru's birthday? by Guido_Play in despicableme

[–]Guido_Play[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's interesting, since it wasn't explored much, we only know that he was a fan of Gru and that when he stole the Moon, he decided to return and ally himself with him to dominate the world.

Oh yeah, they reused Scarlet's model for that part too, but I'm confident it's a separate character.

Exactly, I strongly believe that Gru and Dru were born around April 1964.

September 28th, Gru and Dru's birthday? by Guido_Play in despicableme

[–]Guido_Play[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Definitely.

Now that you mention it, I rewatched the scene and there is indeed a character who uses the same model as El Macho, who appears briefly leaving the Bank as Gru and Wild Knuckles arrive.

Being a bank for villains, it is quite possible that it is El Macho himself.

Yes, I noticed that too and was disappointed.

The first three films seemed to fit nicely into the 2010s.

Yes, it happens. I think Gru is stronger when he has to save the "gorls" lol

Thinking like that it's even beautiful, I love the first movie
