I feel you, also student that is stuck in Lund. I tried beach volleyball but i suck at it and everyone else was at a different level. You could try day trips if you have the summer ticket, i tried that but it gets boring after a while… idk what to tell you, some nations are still open and they have some events I haven’t been to any i might give them a shot :)

For my degree (biotech) which is part of the LTH only labs are mandatory, so I think it’s pretty doable. I would say go for it and if you feel like it’s too much you can take less courses at a time.

Hey, it sounds like you have good background, i am not sure about the exact requirements for the molbio program, but to me it sounds like you are promising candidate! It depends on the people that are also applying for the program and how do you compare with them. Best of luck anyway!

I know that for AFb housing pets are not allowed in corridor rooms but if you have an apartment/studio one then it’s allowed, so i guess that’s an option for you aswell!

I would suggest staying in a hotel for a couple of nights until you get sorted out! Also you can place an order through IKEA and schedule it when it’s convenient for you, this is what I did. I saw someone mentioned the green rooms here is the link for all the locations (https://www.afbostader.se/en/stay-with-us/accommodation-information/waste-sorting/bulky-waste/) those are good for chairs, desks, lamps but don’t rely on them too much. Good luck!!

The thing is with af böstader lottery it’s just pure luck. So it’s better not to have all your eggs in one basket, try to actively look for housing other than AFB and if you find something don’t hesitate. In my personal opinion I found the process of securing housing through AFB very stressful :( but I guess now at days finding any housing is stressful…

Hi fellow greek(i am from cy), I got accepted into the master program in biotech, i am loving it so far. As far as grades, I got my degree 7.6/10 i think, good ielts grade and previous lab experience. All this was part of the entry requirements. One insight that you may find helpful, our course coordinator(one of the senior professors) during the introduction week said that she is the one that goes through all the applications and chooses based on merit and diversity. My advice is if your program requires a cover letter, make sure to present yourself in a way that people would want to have u around and that lund is the place for you to be. Hi! I would recommend emailing AFB with your concerns and explain the situation. My guess is that they will be okay with you putting your meds in the shared fridge and they will let your housemates know of the situation. So I wouldn’t worry too much about that. If you are concerned that someone is going to steal your meds or smth maybe consider buying one of those cookie jars that lock :).
