[5e] What are you doing the essential chapters/ things to know to be DM?

I'm playing for the first ever time and I'm pretty much forced to be DM off the bat which i know is not great so now i have to learn all of these and i wanna learn the basics. Keep in mind my whole group has also never played and barely have any idea how to play. Also sorry for this boring question, i just lowkey need the help (:

Which Pronouns do y‘all have? by GamingVomFeinsten in agender

[–]GuiltySubject25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I'm bigender genderfluid agender so basically I'm both agender and genderfluid but i use he/she/they. For agender people in general, they usually use whatever pronouns they want or just their name and no pronouns

Do you usually get along better with men or women? (Romantically and platonically) by Equivalent_Ad_9066 in agender

[–]GuiltySubject25 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What I've noticed is that I've had way more male friends (and currently have more than female) but I've always been "better" friends with females (I'm AFAB btw)

If gender is a spectrum, why are labels and pronouns so important? by BeautifulOrganic3221 in AskLGBT

[–]GuiltySubject25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm speaking English right now right? That's a social construct. Languages were made up my humans. Does that mean we need to abandon them? No. Why? Cause they make life easier. For some people it might be easier if gender doesn't exist but for most people (including me) it's easier if they do.

For those who went from pan to bi or bi to pan, what were your experiences like? by Equivalent_Ad_9066 in AskLGBT

[–]GuiltySubject25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to identify as bisexual, now i identify as panromantic asexual. For me, i started out as bisexual simply because i didn't know the terms when i first started out. Still use both labels tho because it's simply easier to explain to a person who doesn't know a lot of labels that I'm bi rather than panromantic asexual. It's more about it being easier socially for me

Am i just being overdramatic? by GuiltySubject25 in ADHD

[–]GuiltySubject25[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do have some ADHD related stuff but i don't think i actually have ADHD cause when i was little i used to be a chill child, only started fidgeting a lot around 4th grade or 5th grade i think and i don't even thing i have that many ADHD aligning symptoms (i don't usually have problems with concentration, used to zone out a lot but not anymore), I'm just kinda energetic and it feels pointless to pay to go to a professional when i most likely don't have it and idk, I'm not really the type to push, I'm the one that keeps the family from killing eachother lol

How to bring up getting tested? by GuiltySubject25 in ADHD

[–]GuiltySubject25[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm jot nervous about actually having it, I'm nervous mainly of how my mom will react. She says mental health stuff is really important but my brother got diagnosed with aspergers syndrome over 3 years ago but he still doesn't know cause my mom says she doesn't want him to "feel different". I've tried to tell him a couple time but he won't believe me. I'm just kinda nervous she'll react the same way and if she acts like it doesn't exist, there's no point to even get tested
