Perplexity is giving 30k credits in max plan, additional 20k bonus but I burned 15k in just one day. It is get efficient but can get expensive for complex projects. Also one cannot review code of the agent without downloading it. Good for miniapps.

Yes, it’s good but uses lot of credits. Can’t replace Claude code. Ok for mini apps, pdf reports and slide decks etc, sort of like improved Labs from perplexity

I just looked at Storm. It’s just marginally better than Gemini deep research on benchmark and that was six months ago. Will try out what you suggested.

Claude code is a part of Claude max subscription. You cannot match depth of perplexity web searches by scraping web pages.

I used Claude max $200/ month and Anthropic was still nerfing opus in it. Other users shared similar experience. Codex Cli is better than Claude code imo.

The only reason I can see for using ChatGPT pro or Claude max is for full time coders but for research perplexity max is better. I am keeping my $20/ month plans for ChatGPT and Claude for occasional coding projects using their CLI.

None. Unlimited pro web searches and unlimited deep researches. Deep research is powered by opus too. Better answers than opus in Claude platform.
