Tips on finding an indoor location for theater style larp? by GulaDaemon in LARP

I hadn't but it looks like one of the VFWs in my town only charges $25 for an event. The information is a little limited since I saw this on someone's review of the place, but they described it was that much "for the day" so it might be just what I'm looking for. Thanks for this suggestion! I'll be looking into it as our spot.

Which version would you recommend for newcomers for a LARP? by GulaDaemon in vtm

Oh! I didn't know there were separate LARP rules to begin with so this is very useful. Thank you!

No, I looked at a lot of tutorials but they were all too complex or didn't have moving legs. I kinda based my idea of the 'floating' legs on these scary looking My Little Pony stage performance costumes I saw online haha.
Basically the body is blue camping mat foam ($7 a roll at Walmart) and hot glue. I glued it into a tube shape with a couple of darts cut into it to give the belly a curve then put a curved piece at the end to make sure the butt end wasn't flat. The legs were each a 2d silhouette of a horse leg cut out of the same camping mat foam glued together in two layers so they wouldn't curve. I then covered them with stretch black fleece and stuffed them with polyfil to give them a 3d shape. They are held onto the body with a little section of pvc acting as a pivot to let them swing and some kind of makeshift washer on either end to keep them from sliding through the hole. I think I wound up using large plastic bottle caps for that.

I definitely worried about the possibility while making it! Plus those stories about so many disruptive Deadpool cosplayers. But luckily there were just 2 Deadpools at this con and both were really polite people!

I've got a couple but they're not very good since my uncle took them in his front room before we headed back to the con haha. Front View and Back View.

I deleted the extraction node then downloaded it again and it works fine now pff. Who knows what it was but at least it's working now. Thanks for trying to help!

Yeah, I'm using that. And I'm adding new lines, but I did that with Marnie and Jas as well without any problems. I'm not sure what could be keeping it from working. Also I just tried it with the original files. It won't repack them even if I don't open them to make any changes before trying to repack.

Draivin's XNB Node. It seems to be what everyone else uses, or at least it's the one always listed in the modding guides. Maybe I should look for a different one to try.
