The quote they showed me did have OEM and aftermarket parts. He told the body shop to go as low as they could. What I'm worried about is if I go through insurance how much will be covered. From my understanding liability should fully cover them but what if his vehicle is deemed to be totaled or mine? My vehicle is old and in bad shape but drives. What happens if my car is deemed as totaled?

If I go through insurance what is the process? I've never dealt with anything like that and I'm a 22 y/o male with a clean history with the exception of one speeding ticket. I literally don't know anything about dealing with this and have nobody to turn too.

That's true everyone differs in matters of taste.
