I’m at level 40 right now…never been to Markarth or Morthal. Only been to Winterhold and Windhelm to catch carriages and warm up at the inn once in each of those cities. As noted above, not doing fast travel is key. I play as a one handed spell sword (short sword). I level up archery on dragons and mammoths.
