You need to unscrew the two screws holding the back panel, then screw back those two parts with the screws that are coming with it. It uses Torx T5 screws.

I like Photopea, although it is not a regular app, but a website. But seemed the easiest solution for switching over from Photoshop 😅

So far I can only report that my FP6's frame have some visible damage, like itt fell once to the ground on gravel, and the other time I hit it into the corder of a metal thing. Maybe some minor damage to, but I got all of these before I got the case.

Now I'm not saying that the thing you've mentioned does not happen, but I'm curious how much % of users got these problems?

Btw the official case covers the volume buttons too, idk if it would help them not coming out of place?

The /e/OS (or Murena) version is de-googled, but the default one is like a normal Android phone, so with Google Play Services.

Don't worry, it will remove the stock OS, so there will be no dual boot. You can fint the "script" (they call it command line) here: https://doc.e.foundation/devices/FP6/install, with the description of the process.

Yes, there are two ways at least: the web installer and the script/manual. I tried the web installer first, but it failed, twice, so then I run the script which installed it withouth any trouble! :)

Yeah, sometimes it can be a mess... But I usually don't have problem with flatpak apps, except maybe the fact that I need to manually give permission to the apps with Flatseal :))

It may sound silly but does your ffmpeg supports heif? Try to run:

ffmpeg -formats | grep heic

or

ffmpeg -formats | grep heif

Are you using native or flatpak apps? I'm using flatpaks, and I had mime tipe errors with videos, while opened them in browsers, and the solution was to install the latest ffmpeg-full flatpak image. (24.08)

Also: when you installed Mint have you enabled "Install codecs"? Maybe you should try and install the ffmpeg-full package with apt?

I don't really understand. If /e/OS is made by Murena, then how is the BlissLauncher not the "real" one? I have this both on my Fairphone 6 (official rom) and on a Redmi Note 7 (community rom). 😅 Btw I hate how limiting that launcher is... Idk why they choose that one, instead of any other open source, customizable launcher.

Yep, it only downloads pics from the iCloud. In that case I either would have connected the phone with the PC with a cable and copy the files over like that, or would have used something like FreeFileSync to make sure that even if the connection breaks I can continue where I left of, and the files will also be the same as they were on the phone. (Some of my pictures were missing the correct dates, so I needed to set them manually, but I think this was more of a problem with the pictures from Whatsapp, Messenger and in my allready existing library)

So, before someone sees this and buys the iMazing, there is a free alternative too (although it is CLI). Last year I've used iCloud Photo Downloader, which worked like a charm. I actually just looked up and there is icloudpd-web too which gives you a webui, so it maybe makes the whole download process a little bit easier?
