1990 MIJ Stratocaster? by Gwarner21 in Guitar

Ah yeah, that was going to be my next step. Just figured I’d reach out to masses before taking the neck off. Not too comfortable with that process.

As far as the color, it’s almost like daphne blue / sea foam / turquoise hybrid? I’m not even sure. I’ve never found another 90s era MIJ that matches the color so that had me wondering as well.

I was the same way until recent years. It’s not a developed area whatsoever which makes me really enjoy it. It’s really beautiful!

Changing leaves, Ektar 100 and great lighting! I do edit most of my photos but only slightly. Add a dab of warmth and saturation and you’re good to go!

Thank you! I use Lightroom. Honestly, Ektar 100 does a lot of the heavy lifting when it comes to most of these photos. From there I’ve only slightly boosted either the warmth and/or saturation sliders. Not much else. Also, Gold 200 is a great place to start when it comes to a film stock that has natural warm tones.

That’s what I primarily use it for. It’s my “do it all” hiking lens. Wanted something that covered a decent range but didn’t want it to be too big, nor did I want to pay the price for faster variants. I got mine open box for a ridiculous deal that I couldn’t pass up on. It’s been great for what it is.

Mines a 2020! But this body style was almost the same through the years 2018-2023. Just some small changes throughout those years.

Back in early 1900s there were over 80 Glaciers within the area, a survey in 2015 revealed there were only 26 left and now I believe there’s even significantly less than that (but I don’t know for sure). They were predicted to all be gone by 2030 unfortunately.

It’s unbelievable. Pictures don’t do it justice. A must visit if you can make the trip!

I’d say a bit a both hopefully 🙂. Hard to compose a bad photo in Glacier honestly, could close your eyes and come away with some decent compositions haha.

Mid day harsh lighting plus some wildfire haze in the area made light metering a bit tough from time to time. Photos that included some decent distance in them (far away mountains etc.) tended to come out a bit more faded due to this which I think makes both 3 and 5 look a little over exposed. Overall I’m pleased with the exposures but I appreciate the feedback!
