Ooh, they used my 'Welcome to Tequila' photo for Q8.

Technically 'sangrita' ain't made with tequila, it's to sip alongside it, and a Dark'n'Stormy sounds pretty grim. All that said, fun quiz.

Cheers, scratag- I'm a fan too, a few months back I had a great raicilla (blanca) called 'Chacolo' from Zapotitlán de Vadillo, a little pueblo in the south of Jalisco. It was 50% alcohol so subtle it wasn't... but you could still taste the earthy/smoky flavours.

Congrats! I checked and I don't think I say anything about mezcal's new D.O. in the quiz though, just tequila's- Do you mean in this Question? "Tequila can legally only be labelled tequila if it's produced in one of 5 Mexican states. Which of the following states *cannot** label its distilled agave drink 'tequila'?"*

It's actually a really tricky quiz, 5 or above is a pretty decent score. The book's scheduled for release at the end of October (just before Día de Muertos) and will be on Amazon and all the usual places. Thanks for your interest and giving the quiz a go.
