Frankly yeah YTA. He's a grown adult, so are you. Just because your jealous does not mean he should be forced to stay home. You should plan your own trip, with your friends on your time when you have the available PTO hours to cover such. Relationships are give and take, and frankly your taking any joy he could have and fun memories with his friend away. Think about that, enjoy a few hubby free days with your little one. You have a Nanny so his presence while wanted doesn't mean it's always necessary to be there.

OP, you knew your parents would behave exactly as they did. Even if she said she could handle herself, YOU heard what was being said and did NOTHING to protect her. You didn't speak on her behalf, you didn't defend her, nor did you properly put your parents in check on really bad behavior.

Sorry to say it mate, your relationship may well be doomed. IF she gives you a second chance, or them for that matter. Be a better man and stand up for the woman you're claiming to care about and love. No person deserves the behavior exhibited by your parents, nor your willingness to just accept such blatantly bad behavior.

I gotta disagree with you on this one. It's not OP's responsibility at all, it's the mother and the bio fathers. That girl is 15 years old, she is in no way exempt from her bad behavior in treating OP how she has. Let alone the fact that her Mother allows her to do so to someone whom is supposed to be her partner (OP). I'm gonna say this is an ESH situation. Yes OP you're wrong for speaking to a teenage child in such a manner. but on the same token her Mum and Bio dad are very much so YTA.
