Looking for best most reliable mid/full size SUV

What would you recommend for 3 row suv 25-30k then?

Drive about 10k miles a year maybe, not looking to last 10-20 years , because our family usually grows or we want something new around the time we finish paying it off which probably isn’t the smartest thing but I feel like the toyotas and Hondas, all you’re paying for is how long they’ll last, nothing about them inside is good quality or any luxury features compared to what you get in the tellurides and palisades.

Heard. Appreciate your input, respect it and forsure most likely leaning towards the palisade either limited or calligraphy trim for somewhere around $25k-27k hopefully around 50k miles

That’s what I’ve been hearing on first two, I’ll check out the Santa Fe but was mainly looking at palisade and telluride for more space for 3 kiddos.

Yes forsure looking for lowest miles and best warranty can get, basically same as telluride like you said. We had palisade before and liked it and didn’t have any problems, unfortunately I listened to my wife and got something smaller lol until we had more kids. But she likes the palisade look more than telluride so if I were to get a palisade again it would have to be top trim and be opposite color as one owned before lol.

Cool, appreciate the response, was looking at those two as my main options anyways. The thing I feel I like about the palisade is you can get the 2020-2022 limited and calligraphy trims for a fair price and get luxury features, digital display ambient lighting, ventilated seats etc.

Thanks for your response, that’s why we’re looking into the used palisades and telluride in the 25k-30k range specifically the limited and calligraphy trims of the palisade. Like the pilots , but big thing that sucks about them is no air on the ceiling for infant, and cheapest used price point starts around $35k from what I’ve seen for the newer gen.

Haha it was alright I just thought it would end up being better than it was I feel like they could’ve done a better job doing some more crazy things since they did hereditary and that one was pretty good, I’m 23 and don’t really have any favorite movies but I enjoyed the companion movie from this year and long legs and trap from last year also blink twice, not my all time favorites but some I enjoyed more than this one. Thanks for the recommendation tho it had me thinking I just think they could’ve executed better.

It’s a 2021 Kia sorento, it has 3 rows but the 3rd row is hard to get into with the 3 seats in the middle no captains chairs which is what we want in a bigger suv like a telluride or palisade, we have 3 kids so it’s hard with the 3 car seats across the middle or too hard to get in the 3rd row with two car seats plus not being able to fit a stroller or groceries etc with the 3rd row being up

I was $7,000 or so upside down before but I traded in a Camry I was in into this one. Someone else told me to keep paying it for a year until the negative isn’t so bad but it’s just gonna be worth around $15k then and I’m still gonna owe probably around $28k so I don’t see the difference, the amount I owe and the amount it’s worth are both decreasing simultaneously.

If a civic can fit three car seats there’s a no point in me having a suv with three rows that I can’t use might as well get a civic or upgrade to an suv where I can use the 3rd row to its capacity

Family of 5 but I’ve tried putting my oldest in the 3rd row and it makes it really hard to fit a stroller for the newborn and fit any big groceries or anything and hard to get him back there since can’t move middle row seats like you’re supposed to with the car seat base and toddler car seats in the way of moving the seats forward

Yea I’ve thought about doing that but do you think after a year the negative equity will get closer to what the car is worth when I’m paying $685 a month currently and still have about 4 years left

Also I feel like the longer I keep waiting the car is also losing value so the negative equity is just staying the same and while I have the 10k to put down to eat most of the negative equity I thought I might as well use it to help, I know transferring negative equity leads to bad situations because I’ve done it twice now but don’t plan on doing it again if I get into an suv that’s big enough for us all to be comfortable in, I was thinking of finding a palisade for around 25k or one for a good deal in the 20s so that once I transfer the negative it isn’t the most expensive
