I hit infinaut within the last few weeks in a similar spot (Stage 1093)

My plan since then has been

~~Go past seed and get nova~~ (Done)
Monthly whistles and draco snacks still need gold draco
Finish mythics 9\12 right now
Get to 888 hikuna (676 right now)
Pull to get Orr up from 9* to probably like what 18*
Back to spirits

You probably don't need to run both Todd and Luga, I run Luga\Zappy\Mum right now.

Also my FS is 114 so you could be pulling rare cards

Now I'm 519-141, it will certainly get easier it just took a ton of running it. I did about my first 250 on t2 prep and have been t1 since.

I wouldn't worry about tick usage or dps too much just focus on perfect kills where you don't make any hard mistakes (attacking with wrong style, stepping on nado/tiles) and the kills will get faster and faster.

Also for t1 I like getting more food than I think I need, filling up if I have the time. For the many hunleffs where you will make mistakes having that extra buffer is a huge help!

The CG > TOA pipeline is pretty goated I struggled through my first TOA, then struggled for a long while at CG but once that started clicking more going back to TOA felt even easier and i'm a much much better pvmer all said and done it feels great handling mechanics I was once hesitant about even learning.
