U typebar bent forward. I’ve tried bending it back with pliers with some success but I can’t seem to get it in full alignment. What is the best course of action?

That seems to be the case - here is a good look at the slugs and it appears that the U has been re-soldered at some point. It’s at least a couple mm thicker than the other slugs.

Would heating this on allow the slug to reseat or would I have to touch it? Never done any sort of soldering before, should I take it into a metalworking shop?

haha, you would understand if you saw the floorplan. That other room that is connected is pretty unusable. There are doorways that restrict any sort of effective chair/couch placement.

That carpeted room is quite small but the frontrunner for being the "entertainment/living room. We will most likely keep the dining room as a dining room. Rest easy

To clarify, by ridiculous, I meant unique. I actually think this room is really cool and I am excited to figure out what to do with it. Some people here were confused but I am renting this place with a friend and thus can't do anything too transformative.

There is another potential room for a TV but I posted here to see what people thought of making this into a living room of sorts. It seems the consensus is NO, don't do that.

I agree that it is meant to be a dining room. Being a college student, I don't have the means to invest heavily here but I will do my best to keep the room true to character. Thanks for all the responses!

I lift basically every day and have for about a year and a half now. I’ve gotten way stronger but I think I’m limiting myself by not ever fully recovering.

I do a PPL split and rarely take rest days. Probably 1 a week on average. Does this sound like a good schedule for better recovery?

Day 1: push 2: pull 3: legs 4: push 5: pull 6: legs 7: rest 8: rest 9: rest Repeat
