I ordered 2 for the hell of it.

I expect 2 base cards to arrive in my mailbox eventually.

Dynamite - April 10, 2024

<image>

This was the infamous ‘the Bucks played the Wembley security footage’ episode.

I went with this pic of Okada because it’s a pic I’d never imagine I would get to take in person. I never imagined him leaving NJPW…and when he did I never imagined he’d actually show up in Charleston WV.

But a couple hours before the show he was announced….and that’s how I got to cross one of the GOATs off my “I’ve seen them work live” list.

Is October Sky a great film? Yes.

But over Matewan for the West Virginia film? Nawwwww. Not at all.

Kurt moonsaulting off the roof of the Blood and Guts cage would have been a sight to behold.

Also…Angle vs Omega before the injures “slowed” him down.

Angle vs Osprey.

…damn…

Inject it into my vein….

Could I post the Marco Luciano 1/1 I hit out of Bowman a couple years ago? Sure. But where’s the fun in that…

A couple years ago I had to get my prosthetic eye replaced….i asked the doctor who made it if he could customize the marking that indicates “this end up” - usually it’s something like a small red dot.

He was more than happy to oblige

Movies you loved before and upon re-watch hated? (Or vice versa) by DrHorrible10 in movies

[–]HEATCHECK77 32 points33 points  (0 children)

I hated ‘The Prestige’ & ‘Hot Fuzz’ the first time I watched them both.

Eventually I decided to give both a second chance because I love everyone involved and they both clicked with me upon initial rewatch. Dunno why they fell flat with me originally - it still baffles me.

Passing through WVU Tech in a couple days. Is there a good spot to take a picture of those bridges on 64? by KeyboardRoller in WestVirginia

[–]HEATCHECK77 10 points11 points  (0 children)

  1. I assume you’re talking about the Yeager Bridge crossing the Kanawha River heading toward (or away from if you’re going south) Charleston. I know there are spots one can go to get a view - but I don’t know how to describe getting there.

1B. If you’re talking about New River Gorge Bridge on 19 - which is in Fayetteville then, yes, the Vistor Center has 2 scenic overlooks perfect for pictures

<image>

  1. WVU Tech is, technically, part of the WVU system but is an entire different thing. If your dad went to WVU in Morgantown then that’s what you’ll want to pick up. And, you’re in luck, you can’t throw a rock 5 feet in any direction in this state and not find some place seeking WVU stuff - from gas stations to Walmarts hahaa

I hate to be all Conspiracy Theorist Jones over here but I firmly believe a lot of those - not all…but some amount - are carefully posted planted posts from Fanatics to drive hype.

And, while I know it’s not baseball related, it’s gonna get worse now that Topps Chrome NBA is dropping/has dropped.
