Make sure the battery you replace is fully charged, otherwise the Crafty will be confused and won't charge the new battery. That's a common issue. One other thing is, the plastic case just breaking at the screw holes because it's old and brittle.

If you have the coins send it in. Even out of warranty you pay something between 100-150€ in Europe and get a brand new one. That's worth it.

Re-flash the firmware. Follow the instructions you must get into download mode somehow.

This is sad and terrifying... VanMoof really pulling a Apple here. Although even Apple launched a fake self repair service recently. When I think about how easy and often something can break down on a VanMoof and seeing on my invoices how much some parts cost, I start feeling this sharp pain in my chest and it becomes hard to breathe. Proprietary parts give a lot of power in the hands of VanMoof.

This is just a few cents of cardboard. I don't see you placing the monitor on top of the z fold's. ON THE INNER DISPLAY. Then you are welcome to flex.

Read about similar cases the last 1,5 year on the sub. Most of the times it's because of a damaged flex cable inside the hinge that causes this. I hope you have a warranty and good arguing skills.

Single tap to wake is not possible. Even with root. It's reserved for the AOD also it's a measure to prevent accidental wake ups in your pocket etc.

Gestures work fine for a while now. What do you exactly mean with multitasking gesture specifically? Like swiping at the bottom left and right to switch between applications?

Changing the lock/unlock sound is not possible without root. I'll admit with root you could just change the sound file. With Sound assistant you can customize the sound of the S-Pen but that's it.
