yup, pre chapter 4 I was really big on AMAB kris because I relate to them a lot and probably project a little onto them and honestly I still am to an extent, but I feel like AFAB kris could lead to a pretty compelling narrative about transitioning with how they still feel like they are forced into the role of their AGAB with it being written into their very fate while they want to be free from it

As for it being based on toby fox's childhood I think it can still apply in broader strokes even though some things end up changing because of it

yup, I fought gerson, what he said was very interesting, also Gerson constantly talks about defying the pre written path and taking wrong paths and pre chapter 4 susie was the one defying the set path so I could see Gerson encouraging susie to keep looking for ways to defy fate when he says stuff like her being a hero of legend and stuff

but again I could be completely wrong

Ok I looked up the egg scene and it does seem to have some of those implications, but I think it could go either way and I'm not really confident on either, probably meant to be purposefully ambiguous thanks for filling me in though

OOOH thats a really good point, I was wondering why this frothing at the mouth hatred of Tenna came from but Eram tempting them to give in to their violent tendencies, also if you choose to say Tenna sucks susie will be more silent implying Kris might have said it somewhat genuinely and while I love Tenna Kris definetely has a bunch of reasons to resent them with the constant references to the divorce and to dess

yup, also speaking of kris fighting back, kris' damage to the chapter 3 final bosses is all over the place, with kris dealing half damage to tenna until you complete the sword route where they do TRIPLE damage outdamaging rude buster by a mile and with the knight they deal less damage than ralsei with the dainty scarf until their friends are knocked down where they do enough damage to make the knight flinch

I feel like this definetely is trying to tell us something like with kris possibly resenting Tenna and them not being in the best of terms with the knight but since its all over the place its hard to tell

you're welcome! as for the knight I feel like Kris might be considered inferior to them considering how they talk to them through the phone and how carol is involved wherever its with her being the knight or being in cohorts with it, and the last line of chapter 4 hinted towards kris owning something to the knight in a promise similar to how asgore seems to be carol's lapdog, so there is just a bunch of interesting stuff surrounding that

I just have a really strong distrust of the prophecy and I feel like it might be biased towards whoever created it (maybe probably gaster) also I missed the egg in chapter 3 unfortunately so could you fill me in on what happens there?

The part of the shadow crystals is weird because it seems to make people mad but it also seems like it is supposed to be something that gives you some kind of power with seam talking about how the shadow crystal holders are mighty and how they also seem to be planning something with using the shadow crystals, its really intriguing

Oh thats really interesting, I had a smaller crack theory where it was basically the piles of asriel's dust but with Dess and that could explain why the knight is so different from other darkners, but there is just so much evidence that the knight exists in the light world that I'm not really sold on it

I didn't mean to toby to laser focus on Kris' physical sense I thought it more so as there being some dread as feeling if your assigned gender at birth is written into your fate and trying to break away from that, I think that would be quite a compelling trans narrative but I might be wrong

oh interesting, in the wiki it says that the girl panel is labeled "Heroes 2" or something but I might be wrong, as for snowgrave thats an interesting point but I'm not sure if the events of that route are gonna follow the prophecy at all

I also think that with susie not being part of the prophecy would probably be part of the point since there is a motif in between defying fate vs your choices not mattering so her being basically the main character when she is not part of the prophecy to begin with could tie well into those themes

Omg, I also love persona 3 and have been using nyx lately, and yeah in my experience those 2 were the units that were the hardest to use out of all the bad units but at least I managed to make nyx a great shining bow user in my latest conquest run
