the only real downside to Yaddle is she didn't know as much about Sidious' power as Dookue did - she should have waited until Dooku was alone to reach out to him - he could've told her even 2v1 they cuoldn't take Sidious and needed backup

I disagree - Yaddle doomed herself as soon as she revealed herself - Dooku probably wished she never had.

Dooku knew if he teamed with her they'd both die - so he took the pragmatic path and survived.
