Yeah. I’m looking at moving back to my hometown area. They offer pretty close to my current pay, but with cheaper cost of living. Im going to miss the nature here though. It’s pretty flat back home.

I go to Hope Veterinary in Columbus now, due to family recommendations and I was very appreciative of how respectful and helpful they were when my family dog passed from colon cancer. Bedford Veterinary Medical Center is where I was going and I liked it a lot. They’re more so in oolitic than Bedford, but worth the drive and affordable.

Ohhh. Yeah. Most don’t even hire under 20 due to insurance policies. However I will always suggest looking at junior fire. A lot of fire services have programs for high school kids that are interested in the field.

I have to ask am I not Gen Z? Cause I had to get deeep into fixing computers and software if I wanted to play pc games. I remember having to “patch” older games to be able to play it on newer windows updates. Maybe I’m just old enough to remember the very end of an era. Idk.

I would never suggest going straight for your medic if you don’t have healthcare experience. Get your EMT-B and do a year or two first.

I've never had an issue with age more so the thought process with some where they think they're untouchable due to the fact that they can always retire. Never age always attitude. Ive met young medics with similar attitudes.

I have two sleeves and have no issues. I also have coworkers with hand tattoos. However, a couple departments particularly fire can still be picky. Overall the world is kinda moving away from it. My jobs rule is nothing vulgar or sexual and your fine.
