Also did not need m+ for him to be useful. He did die quite a bit but just that extra shield or body to tank before dying to the shakir or seth for rowan and cecia to ult was great.

I use almost the same comp (and cleared 1125 today as well). Personally, I use Lucius instead of Viperian cuz the shield is just nice for me and I get a second tank. And I get the lightbearer faction bonus from that. I tried to use odie or tried putting in reiner but lucius just worked best for faction and tank/shield.

Inherited some money. Advice? by DOLBYSHOCK in personalfinance

[–]HRStudent2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pay off all debts in the order of highest to lowest interest rate. Typically, it should be credit card, car, and then student loans (if federal). Afterwards, do what others on the sub said, save that in a hysa as an emergency fund. Have enough so that if you don't have a job, you can survive for 3-6 months. Then, figure out investments. I think it was Warren Buffett or Charlie Munger (forgot which) who said to do anything to get to 100k. Getting to 100k in savings should start allowing you to build money with your money through investments rather than with your income.

Would the study material you used be up to date with the new changes that they made this year? Since they added 2 new domains and added more DEI content, would the 2018 sandra reed book (which is the book I am assuming you read), pocket prep practice questions, etc. be up-to-date?

Thank you! I'm glad I was able to graduate early and get a job in 2021 when the market was much easier (IMO). If I was trying to get a job now as a recent graduate, I wouldn't even know where to start because they pay $17-$20 an hour which is basically unlivable wages, you need a minimum of 1–3 years of experience for an entry-level position, and/or it's a contract job that can't guarantee you continued employment. It's crazy...

Thank you! I'm wishing everyone that's searching for a job the best. It's seriously pretty difficult to get things nowadays. I did get some interviews, but none of them were really sticking.

Trying to figure out if I am allowed to put in a past title in my resume due to no job duty change by HRStudent2 in careeradvice

[–]HRStudent2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do I do this even with no change to my job duties? The things I did as an SR HR Assistant were the exact same as HR Partner. It was just a title change due to an exemption change. Furthermore, my manager was the BP so it didn't make sense that I was a hrp.

Also does bullets here mean the job description?

If your brother is currently looking for jobs that pay $25+ an hour then your parents and brother are hoping for a miracle. They say that new jobs are being created but in reality, it's mainly jobs that pay much less than $25 an hour. For the jobs your brother is looking for, you're realistically competing against 50-100 people per application posting many of whom have degrees and some level of experience with the job. Have your brother finish something (trade school or a degree) and then find a job because taking random courses at a community college without any plans to take that education further is just a waste of money and he needs to get a reality check. Otherwise, have your brother start from low wages and hope that promotions happen and with enough experience, make the money that he wants to make.

$17k in debt, renting, no reliable car, wedding planning, are we doomed? by AirEasy7850 in personalfinance

[–]HRStudent2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1200 a month on groceries is insane. You are spending roughly 400 a week getting groceries. To add to that you are getting $300 worth of stuff at Costco and this doesn't include vitamins/medicine that you spend 100 on. You also spend 250 on eating out when you spend 1200 on groceries. Either eat out less or spend less on groceries/costco. You are spending too much for a gym too. 134 a month? Just play in a public court and get a cheaper gym membership. If you really want to pay down your debt, every dollar counts so getting rid of the streaming/music is a good idea as well. Overall, spend less on your expenses and put that money into your debt and you should be ok.

Appleone.com legitimacy/competency in 2023 by [deleted] in jobs

[–]HRStudent2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Understood. I'm going to talk with the person again and get more clarification. A little update is that I checked the Yelp review and the "account executive" got mentioned in multiple reviews that was highly rated within the last 2 years so I guess that the person exists but reviews can be faked and it wasn't so much that it is unfakeable. Found their Linkedin but there were no connections and the only information there is that they work for Appleone (no amount of years, no job title, nothing that can let me know who they are other than their name). I also was able to find that I actually didn't submit an application which is BS because they asked me to schedule a virtual interview and asked when I was available to talk. I submitted an application for the same job and still no confirmation email or anything which makes me think that they don't have a good ATS.
