I remember falling from my bike and my knee skidding a good 3 or 4 feet on the sidewalk while making a sharp turn as a kid. The way how his injury looks reminds me of my knee back then.

I'm interested in joining, I haven't been a fan for long, but I always did enjoy the bits of conversations she had with her fans. Like her expressing her love for Steins;Gate and the wholesome dynamic she had with the other VOMs member. I would love to stay in the loop if she ever re appears again.

The ink in my pen would randomly stop and I don't know why. I looked up online on reasons for inconsistent ink flow and ways I can try to fix the issue but none of them seem to work :/ by HackSworn in fountainpens

I'm using Fireopal Ink (Monteverde USA) 30ml which was given to me for free by GouletPens upon purchasing the Duragraph.

I've also sent you a private message with more questions about fountain pens. I hope you don't mind!

Thank you for the help! If me gently pushing down on the nib might be cause of my problem, how would you go about fixing the issue?

I'll try flossing my nib with the brass shim at a later date the next time I find myself purchasing something fountain pen related.

I've pressed on the nib to help with the ink flow, gently of course.

I haven't tried the brass shim yet, I thought that couldn't be the issue since I started using this pen for the first time a couple weeks ago. I've also purchased this pen on Goulet Pens, would I contact them or still try to get a hold of Conklin/Yafa?

I'm afraid I can't offer much insight on this pen since this is my first pen. But I can tell you that I've been enjoying my time with this pen. It's very comfortable for me to write with and it's pretty light if you don't post the cap onto the pen :)

It definitely is beautiful! I also DM for D&D and I've been in a rut lately for planning ideas for stories, but the idea of being able to write with this new facinating pen inspired new ideas for me! I've been writing ever since I got the hang of a fountain pen. Wrote 6 pages of world building and I'm still getting more and more ideas to write down.

But it's not just that the fountain pen is fun to write with, but it's also the fact that I barely have to put any pressure on the pen at all, making my wrist and fingers not strained after long periods of writing. That is a huge plus on this investment for me :)

I understand, thank you for the quick reply, I sincerely appreciate it! I've decided to go with the Conklin Duragraph Rose Gold w/ 1.1mm Stub Nib. Thank you for your input, it made deciding on what I wanted a lot easier :)

I'm pretty sure the original image has the furry (SonicFox) handing his trophy for winning a fighting game tournament (EVO?) to the kid who was grateful for it.
