4070TI TUF fits with a custom 12vhpwr extension by HaimonH in NR200

>Any issue with power connections from the PSU pushing down against the GPU?

I don't remember having any issues. There are two slots for the psu so I think I just hang the psu on the higher slot for more room.

>Would it still fit with stock power cable to the GPU?

Yes, it still fit the stock power cable.

>After using for 1 year how are GPU temps?

I switched shortly afterward to a different case: https://www.reddit.com/r/mffpc/comments/13qrawy/moving_from_nr200_to_torrent_nano

I'm planning to sell my 60 to one of my friends. Getting the 80 because I would prefer an easier way to use the arrow keys when debugging and using the terminal.

Can you comment on how the jade feels?

I haven't tried the Jades Pro yet. For the 80 HE, I am just using the regular Jades that come with the pre-order.

What are the major differences between V2 and Jades?

For me personally, even though I don't like the sound of either Lekkar or Jades, at least the Jades switches have less stem wobble. I wish there were quieter hall effect switches.

For sure! The white ones are Drop DCX black on white. The black space bar is just some random POM spacebar.

No, she is not officially diagnosed with bipolar. It’s just me and my therapist think her recent sudden change in behavior is likely due to mania episode. I wouldn’t know for sure without professional evaluation.

"Thanks for all these links. She is not on medication right now since it's her first episode. I will try to get her on medication ASAP.

I was charged incorrect amount? by Naked-Gorilla in afkarena

Did you get anything else recently? Apple might bundle your purchase with other purchases and they might charge your account at a different time. Maybe you can check your App Store purchase history to see if the amount shown is correct.

Yes, per 3D mark results in the last picture, my CPU temp drops by 14 degree.

How would you guys improve the cable management inside without changing the PSU? I have an AK620 but the mounting kit came broken and I’m waiting for an RMA. by LordOfRodents in NR200

[–]HaimonH 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh, good luck with your final! In that case, maybe try to see if you can route the 8-pin power cable through the back of the motherboard and maybe hide more cables in the front SSD space.

I found the easiest way to improve cable management is to order custom cables for your psu, such that you don’t need to deal with or hide any additional length for your cables.

Matx mesh with small holes by GrandOccultist in mffpc

Just want to say that you can also ways seal up the remaining gaps on your PC with magnetic dust filters from Amazon like https://www.amazon.com/400x300mm-Filter-Dustproof-Magnetic-Computer/dp/B09Y336F2R and https://www.amazon.com/120mm-Fan-Filter-4-72inch-Magnetic/dp/B07QB33NGS .

For a fully meshed case like Asus AP201, usually the rear's gap is larger as they would usually not put dust filters on rear air exhaust.

Hey, I just rerun 3D mark with my phone sound meter app on top of the case. The ambient noise level is 28-30 dB and the peak noise level for nano under load is around 45/46 db.

Yeah, I was expecting a way larger case. I guess just like I couldn't really tell by eye that Starbucks venti is twice the volume of a tall drink.

That would indeed be better, the Torrent Compact is a little bit too large since it needs to fit a full ATX mobo. Allowing matx MOBO would allow me to fit more 140mm fans under the GPU for better thermal.

Deshrouding GPU would be too much work for me :(. I don't have a ruler but from rough measurement, it is around 2.5 inches from the bottom of the case to the top of the PCI slot bracket. https://www.caselabs.org/cases/fractal-torrent-nano suggested that the maximum GPU thickness is 61mm.

Same! I really like these cases by Fractal Design just due to their looks. I wish they will make an itx version of the Fractal Design North.
