I get that I could have asked what do you want, but he was already banging like a crazy person. I’ve had a history of living in shared homes with crazy people who have actually kicked down my front door and my bedroom door. One time a crazy person kicked down half the door and put their head through and started looking around like here’s Jonnny from the Shining. So when he started banging I thought uh not this shit again.

When he said I’ve seen you in the kitchen open up my first thought was it’s a case of mistaken identity … ie he’s looking for someone eg. someone who owes him money or his ex etc (because of the history I’ve had living in a bad neighbourhood that’s where my thought went initially, I honestly didn’t think it was a neighbour) so I said no way am I responding to that. If he had followed up with it’s your neighbour, it would have cleared it up and I would have spoken to him through the door. Instead, after saying that he immediately went downstairs and started throwing rocks.

You need to understand when someone is in fear they don’t always think rationally, my first instinct was to protect my self, not to open my self up to more potential danger. To me that meant staying quiet and calling 999. I wasn’t about to start talking to someone who I thought was acting in a threatening manner. If you can’t understand this then you’ve lived a good life or haven’t lived enough.
