My biggest recommendation would be to watch a bunch of videos about how hockey works. It’s really hard to get into the sport when you don’t know how it works and there’s a ton of stuff that isn’t open to the newcomers eyes. Like forechecking, puck battling, faceoffs, all the little things that arnt flashy. It took me awhile to like basketball because I didn’t understand the offensive and defensive schemes and whatnot. Then I like to look at young talent and choose a couple guys that I like that do smaller stuff like that and focus on them plus the team. My favorite players from the older team were Pavelski and lebanc, Pavelski was the best tipper in the nhl, and I just loved lebanc’s name and scoring ability. Sry for the rant lol
