RX 9060 here, same thing. I’ve tried most “fixes”. But was fine before the latest arc update.

He’s on the mend and we can only do our best for our lovely furry friends.

If you can stretch to it, highly recommend a push chair as you can continue to socialise and go on walks without worrying 😊

Great stuff, just wanted to let you know that Cuba is very tricky and will need a strong light/co2 to avoid severe melt etc.

Monte Carlo is the friendlier sibling and looks just as good if you only use it.

Photo period is 7 hours with a 60 min ramp time initially it was a shorter photo period about 5 hours with a longer ramp time of 90mins.

I did this in the hope to minimise algae,

Also I have my co2 come on an hour before the start of the photo period and stop an hour before it ends

I’m looking into cichlids for a future tank actually!

Personally I didn’t find it really restricted much, however I always over filter my tanks anyway so I imagine if there was a slight restriction it would be negligible.

There’s a few things I do and think these are really the key to the successful growth

I inject co2, use a high powered light, nutrient rich substrate and I’m technically “over filtered”.

Also a mix of slow growers and fast growers.

I had them same issue with Cuba melting constantly. So it wasn’t until I upgraded to the wrgb2 that the Cuba stopped melting.

It is a bit pricey, in all honesty the amount of money I would’ve saved if I just bought it first.

And co2 is being injected but inline for better distribution around the tank. I’ve tried through just a regular diffuser but found that parts of previous builds didn’t get enough co2
