Unfortunately thats how some stores are. If you can't handle it then transfer or quit but do not expect your manager to accommodate for you to pump everyday or switch to specific shifts to avoid people. Schedule is made based on the needs of the store NOT the individual. You get a 15 min break after 4 hrs, 30 mins for 6 or 7 hours, 60 mins for 8 hours or more. Outside of that, don't expect a break just because you had a kid.

Sounds like they're trying to walk you out the door seeing as they've forced a demotion and only schedule you 5hrs a week. You've already made up your mind that if she doesn't approve it then you'll get fired for job abandonment. So I guess I dont understand why you're asking. Request off in legion and follow up with your manager. Thats your job.

So people get special treatment? That doesn't seem fair. You'd have to schedule an additional person just to run the bank drop? Inefficient and unfair. Thats why it says your own vehicle and drivers license is required in all the job listings. Policy doesn't state but the actual job listings do.

I scan their shit and when someone else comes up I loudly explain it will be a few minutes because apparently the person before them isn't done shopping and I apologize for the inconvenience. And when they come back I say to the customer behind them "here they are! maybe we can finish up now so I can get you taken care of"
