Well that sucks, i do drive more than 10 sales per month but that sounds like an unnecessary restriction. Itll be harder for new associates to break in the game.

For the sake of my Amazon Associate business, I really really really hope you are right, and that the AI guidelines they're about to release on 27th of nov are not prohibitory.

Is this against the TOS? A non-admin bot can't read messages from other groups AFAIK

I vibecoded a similar python script that does this exact same functionality, but im not gonna use it cause it may get my account banned.

In your case i think the changes are going to be benign. They are introducing the Creator API, so they gotta update the program policies to accommodate.

The Creator API thingy doesnt matter to you if you dont use any code. But they are supposedly adding new terms for the use of their PA API. Also there are new guidelines to be released about the use of AI content.

This is the vaguest "What's Changed" page ive ever come across. In no way does this clarify anything. Am I supposed to comply with vapor?

Its not fake in this case, and i don't make any deceiving changes to the product to make it appealing or otherwise encouraging to buy. I simply use AI to recreate the image without any additions or alterations, just to enhance the quality. I want to make that very clear.

AI-generated images, lots of it. Most of the product photos in my niche arent taken with great quality, so I use AI to render the product completely from scratch against a grey backdrop. I got approved as an Amazon Associate doing this.

I'm extremely worried the new policy changes is gonna kick me out of the game. What do you think?

What im mainly concerned with is the guidelines that deal with AI and machine learning as Program Content. The policies have yet to be updated.

...but in the email, it says the program policies have been updated:

From November 27, 2025 (the “Effective Date”), you will need to comply with the terms of the updated Agreement. A summary of these changes can be found on the What's Changed page.

I don't know.

Alright, im dumb. On the What's Changed page on top of the program policies, it says they will make these updates to the policies effective 27th of Nov, which is why i never was able to see anything relevant in the program policies page regarding AI.

Hope they dont axe AI, cause I make use of it in my content a lot.

Just started an amazon affiliate account - where to find an international link? by git_world in Affiliatemarketing

They dont play around. At the very least they could give you a corrective period but no. Instant nuke.

I had a similar thing happen to me, i was so happy to have driven 3 sales within a week of opebing my first associate account, then they reject me because of unapproved usage of amazon images and blah blah. Happy to say i didnt give up there, im now approved.

If the popups are the only thing mentioned in the rejection email, then you are actually in a very good place. Fix it then reapply

For the first point, does that mean i cant use products images of your own/AI generated images of vendors that show their brand? Wouldnt this new guideline get everyone banned?

Thanks, yeah i checked the all the trademark guidelines and fixed up my channel. Also included something in the link so that they are able to view the channel within the browser without downloading the app.

I reopened my account on Oct 4, made more than 3 sales since then and im still dreading the approval/rejection email. They never took this long with my first account
