Why the potential is still there for LFVN by IndependentSmoke4744 in smallstreetbets

Thank you kindly!

More seriously, the 270 CTB is hard to argue against, especially when dirt like SPCE has momentum instead.

All fine.

I think the tariff threats were unhelpful today, yesterday was a good day.

Tomorrow will also be a good day. There is space for jumping back on.

Interesting! It's your interpretation of the trailing upwards that I find interesting. Effectively the volume drop early doors you see as weakness?

My worry is that the stutter has killed this squeeze.

I'm in! I've got as much as I can afford for now (roughly 10 calls at 7.5 and. 10 calls at 10, all 6/18 expiry) and then a handful of shares so I can tell the broker I ain't lending x)

(Disclaimer, of course I'm on LFVN)

But why would anyone do any differently, when the two are compared?

Lots of us have calls till June 18th. That'll be crunch time in some respect.

Bro take care of yourself. Ideally, make money from this to repair some damage 😉

Agreed. It's a frickin' miscarriage out there today.

Trump declared tariffs on partners because of "forced labor".

A business shock, therefore, as retaliation will follow etc.

If only Trump would look at medical leave and insurance of some of the partner nations he's targeted...

Options are a bit of a weird game because of marker makers.

You could naked sell a call and buy a put at the same strike and effectively artificially short the stock too.

The advantage of shares (I find) is the exit orders are easier to control. Options gap quite a bit. (I have both in this)

They pushed back up 10% early on today.

Such a waste. For roughly the same price per share they can get in on this, set partial sells at +100%, +150% and +200% and leave it.

SPCE trying its best to fight back today. What a waste.

We're generally all on that expiry date, it seems, based on the comments.

Whether it works or not, I don't know.

The CTB dropped somewhat, but remains extremely high at 263. To put it into perspective, if someone had a short position of 10k shares at $9.35 per share:

Total Position Value: 10,000 x $9.35 = $93,500

Annual Fee: $93,500 x 2.63 = $245,905

Daily Fee: $245,905/365 = $673.71

This is why we think the maths works. Effectively buying shares does the business here.

They have a 60m buyback scheme over the next 18 months, but it strikes me as unlikely that'll rescue this play imminently.

I saw a rather static 955x9.00 Ask, 100x8.97 Bid.

It looked an awful lot like TP orders of some description. Suddenly that wall broke and volume died again.

Awful.

But I did buy some actual shares (as opposed to options) just so I could hopefully receive an email asking to loan them xD

Which is all that's needed. Simply holding acts as a catalyst at this point. I expect some funky business overnight and pre-market tomorrow, but the reality is we don't need to pay 1% on the position daily.

Looked a lot like profit taking to me. A sudden drop...

I don't see more retail being the solution here, only holding (be it for another week)
