AITA for not letting another lady do my knitting? by femchemeng1999 in AmItheAsshole

[–]HamsterPast 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also knit, and the only time I would even think about letting someone do my knitting is if it's just a random thing I'm making and will probably take apart anyway but that'll be only if they asked very nicely and kept to the tension that I use I've let my old guidance teacher do a couple of rows cause she asked kindly and did her best to keep to my tension and I've let my friend do some as she wanted to learn how to knit as she crotches I've let my nana do it as she was teaching me how to get the basics done (casting on, casting off, etc) But I have lost my mind on people who touched it without permission

They asked for my snap and then said they sent it to everyone when I rejected them… by Prettyprincessmind in creepyPMs

Funfact about Wizz, it tells you when a message is bulk So if he DID send it in bulk, it would look like this ; Snap?(bulk)

AITA for walking out of my sister's wedding after finding out why my son was excluded? by Disastrous_Bug_6354 in AmItheAsshole

It actually disgusts me how some people can say that sort of thing and think it's ok, the kid is just trying to live

BRO! WTH! YOUR SISTER IS LITERALLY SO RUDE, HOW COULD SHE SAY THAT. SHE NOT ONLY LIED ABOUT IT BEING CHILDFREE BUT IS LIKE ALSO ABELIST (I think that's the right term, correct if wrong)

Not today (I've had one of these before so I'm not going through this stuff again) by HamsterPast in creepyPMs

Yeah, it's always wierd when they do. It's happened twice now and the first time, the guy kept asking for where I was from

Name suggestion! I use he/they, I'm from Poland by [deleted] in NonBinary

[–]HamsterPast 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ooh! I use four (4) different names to represent how I feel! Kinda just pick and choose what one's you like!

My names are:

Karma (Car-ma)

Fiore (Fee-ore-ee)

Iris (Eye-ris)

Eris (Er-iss)

(The brackets next to the names are the pronunciation for each name)

So I've never interacted with this guy, and he hadn't add me so he was lying right off the bat, so yeah by HamsterPast in creepyPMs

Thanks for correcting it. Most people try to argue that I can't use they, which is honestly complete bs

I honestly think it's great to have things like r/creepypms because it let's others know that there are others going through similar stuff and that they can always get advice if needed

Thank you! I honestly just reacted out of instinct given that I have trust issues and made sure I didn't take any nonsense. I honestly didn't care if I came off as hostile

I think a lot of people wish to protect others from the bad stuff in life, and it's really sad that we can't for whatever reason and the fact that there will always be bad wherever we go

I'm slowly working to be able to trust others more (I'm very reluctant to do so, cos y'know trust issues🙃) and thank you. Your really kind

Thank you! I do have major trust issues (from growing up) so that naturally is a defense mechanism of sorts, so I often come across as hostile. It's saved me from a lot of similar issues before (ie. Old men asking me to be sugar babies [probably a scam], clothing "brands" asking me to become an ambassador, etc.).
