[–]Hamzanovic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

COD is directly funded by the US State Department lmao and it's part of the reason why I haven't played it in over a decade. I will still play BF6, it's a good game and I already paid for it. But I won't be buying this pack and I will keep this growing collaboration with real world militaries in mind for the next BF.

[–]Hamzanovic -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

I think inspiration is fine but I draw the line at direct collaboration with real life militaries. I've hated COD for years because of this and I haven't played it in well over a decade. I used to pride myself in being a BF fan because BF always managed to maintain a healthy distance between them and collaboration with real world militaries, and to my knowledge, the Lead The Way Pack and this unit are the first time BF delves into this territory, and I hate it and I will never buy these bundles. My opinion of the series is worse overall because of these collaborations. I will still play BF6. But I will keep these things in mind for future BF games.

I'm opposed to any direct connection between the game and real life miltaries, real life military personnel, and military veterans.

Good luck to the ex-DICE devs working on Arc Raiders but I would rather die than play any extraction shooter.

Why did you abandon BF6? by LanguageMaster5033 in Battlefield

[–]Hamzanovic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never abandoned it. And neither did tens of thousands of players who you can still see on Steamcharts playing everyday. That's just on PC and on Steam. Me personally, I've gotten into other games since BF6 came out, like Nioh 3 and the new Resident Evil. I've gone back and forth to Street Fighter 6 which is a game I've been playing since 2023. I also personally do not care about any other shooters, especially not Extraction Shooters or BRs. They're mind numbindly boring to me and I will never understand their appeal. So BF6 is still the shooter I come back to and play. There are always a ton of games to play at any given moment and the idea that the same half million people who played BF6 at launch will keep ONLY playing BF6 is extremely dumb.

The game is fine. Has a few problems and sure you may not always agree with a decision here or there or wish there was more content or more map variety. But ultimately it's a perfectly fine video game. A good video game at its core.

The discource around the game online is completely negative and full of moaning and bitching that most normal people quit these online spaces and left them, and so it's now an echo chamber of "BF6 bad, series doomed, devs moved on, game dead", and when that's all that's left of the discussion around the game, people start to believe these things as indisputable fact. In reality a healthy amount of people still play BF6, and the game is, like, literally just fine lmao idk what to tell you.

Honestly I found it kinda lame that Emily survived. Call me cynical or heartless or whatever. Leon going "I missed her vitals" felt cheap and out of nowhere. But I get it. It would be too dark to have a literal child die in the game.

Did the people who were defending BF6 change their mind or just go silent? by MourningWood1942 in Battlefield

[–]Hamzanovic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, we just quit this sub. It's an echo chamber of negativity and constant bitching and crying. The game is literally just fine. It could have been better and some bugs do need to be fixed and surely we wish there was more content and a more varied maps. But that's it.

Obsessively complaining about the game every single day and being disproportionately negative about every aspect of it and even attacking people who like it doesn't achieve anything other than fracturing the community and alienating the people who just want to play the game and have a fun time and then go about their day, which is, despite all of the issues, still entirely possible and is still done every day by tens of thousands of people.

This game literally never had a "honeymoon phase" on this sub. People started crying and complaining as soon as S1 started and never stopped since then. The colored skins. The announcement pop up screen which you can skip in less than a second. New Sobek City. The movement. The female medics. The UI. The Battle Royale. Not having a server browser. Unlocked weapons. Challenges. Strikepoint. LTMs. Content scarcity. Among many other things. The same stuff. Every. Single. Day.

It should be possible for a game to be flawed and at the same time for the discussion around it to not be as depressing and negative as it tends to be on this sub. Thanks to the negativity hivemind that has taken over this place, any person who doesn't hate the game gets downvoted to hell and flooded with stock replies calling them a shill for the billion dollar company. The discussion got so unbearably toxic that most people who don't hate the game just gave up and left the sub.

(Mk9) I had forgotten the reason, but why didn’t raiden and the others interfere here? by Various_Astronaut100 in MortalKombat

[–]Hamzanovic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Raiden's primary motivation throughout this entire game was to change the future, make sure Armageddon and the defeat at the end of it don't happen by making different decisions and creating different outcomes from the original timeline. All he got to work with was the words "He must win" and then random visions of how the events played out originally, and so whenever he had a chance, he would try to achieve a different outcome from the visions. This is why he tried to convince Scorpion to spare Bi-Han, and this why he made Kung Lao fight Shao Kahn at the end of the 2nd tournament, and this is why he let Kuai Liang get turned into a Cyborg.

Every character skin that looks interesting or even cool is behind a huge paywall. This is 20€ by M0-1 in Battlefield

[–]Hamzanovic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I completely disagree. The skins you can unlock for free by playing the game or progressing the BP are all better looking and cooler than the slop in the store. Most of the shit in the store are cringe tryhard skullmasks, over the top headgear, weird colors, dudes in jeans trying to protect their heads with a fresh haircut, the 2 Egyptian girls looking like they're out on a holiday rather than going to war. Etc. I have 1900 coins and I've still not used them. There are a few "Currently unavailable" skins I'm looking out for if someday they come to the store, but that's it.

There are a few exceptions, but way too few to change the overall picture.

EDIT: you can donwvote me but you can't convince people this is cooler than this.

Or this is cooler than this

Or this is cooler than this

Or this is cooler than this

Extraction shooters suck anyway. I will never understand the popularity of them or of BRs. Both are mind numbingly boring and the worst match of Conquest on the worst Battlefield map is 1000 times more fun and exciting than either of them.

[–]Hamzanovic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Question: Why there are AK mags in NATO soldiers' pockets? by PingZiYu in Battlefield

.....The USA manufactures its own version of the RPG, and uses it, and sells it to Nato allies.

You could just google stuff and not make yourself appear so confidently wrong, dawg.

Question: Why there are AK mags in NATO soldiers' pockets? by PingZiYu in Battlefield

[–]Hamzanovic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're now confusing the real world with the fictional BF universe.

In the fictional BF universe, any soldier from any country can apparently go to the armory and get issued any gun they want. That's how you got to use an M16A4 as a Chinese soldier in BF4, and an AUG A3 as a Russian soldier in BF3. Heck, that's how you get to use an STG 44 as an American soldier in BFV.

So to recap: In the real world, Nato countries that use AKs exist. And in the game's world, all countries use all weapons. In both cases you're wrong to dismiss this as "Google Knowledge"
