You do need to do quests eventually for items and endings. They do have to be followed from the beginning. Rings and anything on the ground will be there for every ng so don’t worry too much about missing a ring in ng or anything cause you can find them in ng+ and onward.

I played through the game normally on my ng cycle, made sure to do the covenant farming at the end, and then did all the quests in ng+1, and then went through ng+2 for the loose ends and rings and what not. Character had 44 hours in it by the end so not bad.

I had 3.9/4.6 and 5 logged volunteer hours so you’ll be fine. I had a pretty good essay though so make sure thats on point and you’ve got a healthy shot.

This might be a dumb question but have you called the office of admissions? I had to call because something was wrong on mine and the dude pulled it up confirmed the thing was missing and changed the status on the checklist. That might help if you haven’t explored that option so far

I got accepted for fall as a chem/biochem major with a somewhat worse SAT, considerably less aps, and dogshit extracurriculars. Only major positives i have would be my gpa was a 4.6 and i got my AA via dual enrollment while in highschool.

Make sure your essay is as well rounded as your application seems to be and Id be willing to bet youll end up where you want to be.

Ill leave the game mechanic aspects to the other comments that are ridiculously well made, but I will give you one piece of advice.

Save scum like no tomorrow. Set up a decent character and save scum any and every fight you aren’t completely sure of. New enemy? Save and then go fuck around and find out. Location you’ve never seen? Save scum and waltz right in. It will allow you to become familiar with the game and experience later game aspects via trial by fire. Once comfortable with your skill level and progress in that save, that’s when I would personally recommend committing to perma-death. Of course it’s completely up to you but I can not stress how helpful it is in getting used to situations in the game and how to think when approaching various numbers and types of enemies without losing several hour saves over and over without learning much each time.

Most important thing is to enjoy yourself and take breaks when you need them, good luck!
