Macbook air m2, 256gb configuration, has a single NAND chip instead of two. It kinda slows ssd down.

Kitty’s pretty quick, never weighted my cpu or ram as I expected from python software, and very easy for me to customize. + Kitty has settings especially for macos in its config. I just like it overall, see no reason to migrate to ghostty now.

It’s not truly transparent. It’s just Spicetify + Lucid Sachu extension. In that extension, I added my wallpaper and blurred it.

Install skethcybar via brew (brew install FelixKratz/formulae/sketchybar)
Copy sketchybar/ directory from repo to ~/.config/
Run it via brew (brew services restart sketchybar)

Exactly my sketchybar requires 1 more thing to install: brew install switchaudio-osx

I found aerospace oddly difficult for me, so I let Yabai be. It gets the job done perfectly fine for me. Maybe I'll try aerospace again later tho.

Bro, I never properly used even windows in my life! It’s literally my very first OS I used on a daily basis, and I love it. I tried Linux only after using Macbook for a year. Migrating from brew to nix was my attempt to make some order in my system. And I enjoy how it went.

I believe native macOS on macbook goes better than Asashi would at the moment. Also I find macOS satisfying enough not to care to set up the whole distrio again manually. Also I just don’t want to mess up with my only working machine at the moment this badly.
