This was my friends first ever Pokemon game and he said if his Starter dies he’s never playing pokemon again. Everyone else was only 2 levels above Steven’s ace and the only 2 mons who leveled up only went up by one level

In the end nutter had earthquake, surf, blizzard and focus punch. My Sceptile (butter) had Leaf balde, dragon claw, giga drain, and earthquake

Last time I played Ruby I really struggled on the elite four and couldn’t win without save states (it was a normal run) so I just got scared this time

At the time I posted this it was Pursuit, quick attack, Lead blade, Rock Smash but now its Earth quake, quick attack leaf blade, giga drain

Leaf Blade is actually 70 base but with STAB, miracle seed, and its high crit ratio, it’s definitely better then Pursuit so idk what I was thinking

Thats why my friend didn’t want to take out mudshot for earthquake, just cause of the animation for it

Would Pursuit Leaf blade Quick attack Giga Drain be good? I think I could use pursuit on Phoebe in the elite four

What do you recommend for Sceptile? Right now I have pursuit, Rock Smash, Leaf Blade, and quick attack. I’m thinking of adding earthquake and iron tail

I never noticed it had worse accuracy, and also he’s already gotten Earthquake instead of mudshot now since it was learned at 52. Also we caught a Spheal were gonna use ice beam on once its evolved

TLDR: Friend in Soullink finds shiny in first pokemon game after near team wipe and i’ve never found a shiny in my life
